| The Covered Bridge Advisory Committee (CBAC) was appointed by the Washington County Board of Supervisors in July of 1994 in response to the mounting concern of many residents about the future of the county's covered bridges. The CBAC’s chartered mission was (and is) to monitor the condition of the bridges and to seek funding for their repair, and report to the Department of Public Works. |
